A Regional Health Foundation is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to join its compassionate team in North Lancashire & South Cumbria. The role involves supporting psychological assessments and interventions under supervision, along with administrative duties. Applicants should hold an honours degree in psychology and possess strong communication and statistical skills. We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join our North Lancashire & South Cumbria Specialist Perinatal Community Mental Health Team.
You will join other psychological staff who are all based in the team and you will be supervised by a senior clinical psychologist. Your role will contribute to the psychological care of service users under the care of the perinatal service, carrying out psychological assessment and intervention (individual and group) under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist. You will also assist with clinically related administration, conduct audits and collect statistics related to departmental research projects, undertake training and project work and liaise with multidisciplinary colleagues and agencies. The role is busy, varied and interesting.
