Overview

O'Neill & Brennan are working on behalf of a highly regarded and expanding Construction Consultancy that is looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager due to continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their project management career who is eager to build on their experience and work across a diverse range of exciting and complex projects.


Our client delivers a variety of bespoke developments, including new build residential schemes, conversions, listed buildings, commercial offices and sports centres. You will be supporting the successful delivery of these projects while learning from experienced professionals in a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking environment.


This role is perfect for someone ambitious, proactive and ready to grow within a company that genuinely supports professional development through structured training, mentoring and networking opportunities. You’ll gain exposure to multi-sector projects and play an active role in their successful delivery.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion

  • Prepare project documentation such as Gantt charts, organisation charts, status reports, and Project Execution Plans

  • Support with project coordination and reporting

  • Liaise with and manage external consultants and project teams, including Architects, Engineers, and other specialists

  • Attend site inspections and site meetings

  • Attend and minute project meetings

  • Assist in contract administration

  • Support the procurement of services and works on behalf of clients

  • Provide support to both junior team members and senior staff


Candidate Requirements


  • A degree in Construction Project Management or a closely related field (essential)

  • Minimum of 1 year\'s experience in construction project management

  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a desire to learn and progress
