Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator POD – Band 3

6 months Fixed Term, Band 3

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to develop their administration skills and work within a busy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients’ pathway of care, working alongside consultants and administrative colleagues.
  • Answer patient queries via telephone, e‑mail and face‑to‑face.
  • Book clinical appointments, ensuring capacity is appropriately used.
  • Problem‑solve, maintain RTT targets and liaise with clinicians.
  • Support the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.
  • Maintain high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer‑focused and knowledgeable point of contact.
