Job summary

Phase Eight, part of The Foschini Group (TFG London), is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Westfield Stratford store on a 32-hour maternity contract. You will lead on the shopfloor, support the Store Manager, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will mentor and develop a team, balancing strong people leadership with commercial focus to maximise branch performance while maintaining high standards and an inclusive culture.

This is a maternity contract, working 32 hours per week.

What you'll do

• Lead by example on the shopfloor and ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service
• Assume all managerial duties in the absence of the Store Manager, striving to positively make an impact through efficient teamwork and leadership
• Maintain a commercial approach to role and operations, working closely with the Store Manager to maximise branch performance
• Assist the Store Manager in delivering the store vision and recognising key areas of strength within the team/store to anticipate future opportunities to keep our customers engaged
