Job summary

Five Guys in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Leeds team. You will work closely with the General Manager, leading shift teams, ensuring quality burgers and fries, and delivering a top-tier guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of management experience in high-volume hospitality, a passion for customer satisfaction, and a strong sense of operational and financial responsibility. Flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR role.
• A proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Experience assisting with P&L management, cost control and inventory.
• Solid knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety standards.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead line teams on shift and assist the General Manager in driving store results.
• Provide an above-and-beyond customer experience and resolve issues promptly.
• Create a positive, energetic working environment aligned with our values.
• Ensure every customer leaves satisfied with their Five Guys experience.
• Manage shift operations to run smoothly and support long-term planning.
• Own the shift P&L and contribute to profitable sales while controlling costs.
