Job summary

Five Guys is seeking an Assistant Manager in the UK to join our high-energy, customer-focused team. You will work with the General Manager to lead shifts, coach Crew and Shift Managers, and ensure a superb guest experience while driving store profitability.

You’ll be hands-on on the line and dining area, live our values, and develop your people for future career opportunities such as Deputy GM or Area Trainer. Competitive bonus and wellbeing perks included.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Track record of driving customer satisfaction scores and positive reviews.
• Experience with P&L management, labour cost control and inventory/waste management.
• Proven leadership, coaching and team development abilities.
• Solid understanding of food safety and 5-star hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Managers and Crew on a shift basis, working on the line and in the dining area.
• Support the General Manager in delivering high-quality burgers and fries, store results and guest experience.
• Create an engaging, values-driven working environment for the team.
• Address customer complaints promptly and honestly while maintaining smooth shift operations.
• Drive sales and manage costs with long-term planning and talent development.
