Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking an assistant manager to lead one of our stores in Greater London. You’ll drive commercial performance, coach partners, and ensure top-tier customer experiences while upholding brand and safety standards.

As a store leader, you’ll manage shifts, analyse KPIs, and implement initiatives to optimise operations. You’ll train teams, champion our mission, and grow your leadership career within a globally recognised coffee brand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced retail or hospitality setting.
• Ability to translate metrics into actionable improvements.
• Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering great brand experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead store shifts to achieve commercial results and deliver world-class customer experience.
• Own KPIs such as labour efficiency, waste reduction and sales performance.
• Manage shift deployment and coaching of partners for optimal customer service.
• Act as duty manager when scheduled and uphold brand and operational standards.
• Use data to drive decisions that improve shift performance and partner development.
• Lead training and coaching to ensure consistent quality and service excellence.
• Support new initiatives and product launches at store level.
• Ensure health and safety and food safety compliance.
