Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking an assistant manager to lead a busy store, delivering outstanding customer experiences and owning daily operations. You’ll drive performance, coach partners, and ensure the highest standards across shifts.

You’ll also translate data into actions, manage KPIs, and support product launches while fostering a growth‑minded leadership career within our store team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in retail or hospitality.
• Ability to translate metrics into actions and manage people and operations.
• Growth mindset with leadership aspirations.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with a focus on delivering commercial results and world-class customer experience.
• Own KPIs including labour efficiency, waste reduction, and sales performance.
• Ensure shift deployment meets planned roles and routines, adjusting to optimise customer experience.
• Observe partner performance, coach and provide feedback.
• Act as the store’s duty manager when scheduled, responsible for operational and partner decisions.
• Maintain brand and operational standards consistently.
• Use financial and operational data to inform decisions that improve shift performance.
• Train and coach partners to deliver consistency in quality, efficiency, and service.
• Lead and embed new initiatives and product launches at store level.
• Maintain health & safety and food safety standards.
