Job summary

Halfords is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Fusion centre. You’ll work with the Centre Manager, manage workshops and front-of-house duties, and focus on delivering a first-class customer experience while driving profitability.

Experience as a mechanic is preferred; you'll divide time between workshop and sales/customer service roles, with opportunities for progression and ATA/MOT qualifications training.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction through effective management.
• Ability to coach and train colleagues on the floor.
• Experience meeting Health and Safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Current valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Manager to drive profitability and customer journey.
• Split time between workshop with technicians and daily sales/customer service.
• Provide hands-on leadership and coaching to the team.
• Support long-term business performance and progression planning.
