Butler Rose is thrilled to represent our client, a highly respected and dynamic business within the manufacturing sector, in their search for a Assistant Management Accountant. This exciting role offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a well-established finance team while furthering your professional development.

About the Role

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will join the company’s overall finance team, where accuracy and timely financial reporting are paramount. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting month-end compliance and timetable adherence.
  • Preparing and posting prepayments, accruals, and other key journals.
  • Calculating and managing intercompany recharges.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
  • Assisting with ad hoc management accounting tasks and wider improvement projects.
About You

We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual who is ready to grow within a collaborative and forward-thinking finance environment. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Progress towards, or completion of, an AAT qualification
  • Previous experience working in a finance team.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with some exposure to ERP systems being advantageous.
  • A proactive mindset, embracing change and taking ownership of your work.
