Job summary

Future Inn Cardiff is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations in our branded hotel, reporting to the Housekeeping Manager.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience leading housekeeping teams, ensuring high cleaning and hospitality standards, and a strong focus on organization and communication. This role is hands-on, requiring flexibility and reliability in a pressurized environment.

The Role

We are currently looking for a Assistant Housekeeping Manager. You will be reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager.

You will already be an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor or Assistant Housekeeping Manager with extensive experience in a branded hotel industry. You will have experience in Accommodation and Public Area cleaning. You will report directly to the Housekeeping Manager and have full responsibility for day to day supervision of a team of housekeepers within the hotel.

An ideal candidate must possess the ability to deliver cleaning and hospitality services to highest standards and be able to demonstrate a real passion for the industry. The candidate must be flexible and have a 'hands on' approach in a pressurized environment. The role requires someone with excellent organization and communication skills.

We are looking for someone with experience of leading and motivating a team. You will take responsibility to train and develop a strong team to excellent standards and customer service. You will demonstrate the ability to work within tight deadlines.

This is very much a hands on position and you will be involved in cleaning and supervising on a daily basis, leading team by example. You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to lead a team to success.

You will be flexible, reliable, enthusiastic with a passion for hospitality and be able to work in a team and also independently.

Our hotels and Conference Centres are busy establishments, therefore this is very much a hands on role.
