Job summary

HotelCare in London is seeking a Deputy Head Housekeeper to support the Head Housekeeper in running a dynamic housekeeping department within a busy hotel. You will apply your management experience, commitment to excellence, and positive attitude to drive team performance and guest satisfaction.

This role requires hands-on leadership, adherence to standards, and the ability to meet daily targets while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality, with a focus on housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Housekeeper in managing a busy housekeeping department.
• Be the first point of contact for the Hotel General Manager and senior management in absence of Head Housekeeper.
• Maintain HotelCare and client standards at all times.
• Meet daily targets.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and cost control capabilities.
• Comply with health and safety policies and report issues for QA/H&S audits.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Working in a fast paced high energy environment assisting the Head Housekeeper with the management of a busy housekeeping department.
• Being the first point of contact for the Hotel General Manager and Senior Management team within the hotel in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
• Maintaining the standards set by HotelCare and our client at all times.
• Meeting daily targets.
• Commercial awareness and cost control capabilities.
• Complying with all company health and safety policies, and reporting/recording any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to ensure adherence to the standards required for QA audits and H&S audits.

• Prior experience in a similar role.
