Job summary

HotelCare is seeking a Deputy Head Housekeeper to support the Head Housekeeper in running a dynamic housekeeping department within a hotel environment. You will help drive productivity, uphold service standards, and lead a team in a fast-paced setting.

You will be the main liaison for the Hotel General Manager when the Head Housekeeper is away, ensuring continuity and quality across daily operations. This role offers permanent employment with flexible hours and a clear progression path.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality, with a focus on housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Housekeeper in managing a busy housekeeping department.
• Serve as first point of contact for General Manager in Head Housekeeper's absence.
• Maintain HotelCare and client standards at all times.
• Meet daily targets and monitor performance.
• Exercise cost awareness and commercial outlook.
• Comply with health and safety policies and report issues for QA audits.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Working in a fast paced high energy environment assisting the Head Housekeeper with the management of a busy housekeeping department.
• Being the first point of contact for the Hotel General Manager and Senior Management team within the hotel in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
• Maintaining the standards set by HotelCare and our client at all times.
• Meeting daily targets.
• Commercial awareness and cost control capabilities.
• Complying with all company health and safety policies, and reporting/recording any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to ensure adherence to the standards required for QA audits and H&S audits.

• Prior experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality, with a focus on housekeeping operations.
