Job summary

Manorview is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Team Leader to report to the Head of Housekeeping and drive world-class room and venue standards. You will lead shifts, train staff, and deputise when required to keep guest experiences outstanding.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, safety, and effective communication with maintenance and reception. Proven people management in housekeeping and familiarity with Procure Wizard are desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years experience within a Housekeeping/Cleanliness environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage workload
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under your own initiative
• Experience managing a team in a housekeeping environment
• Knowledge of Procure Wizard (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Lead shift teams to maintain high cleanliness in rooms and public areas
• Train and develop the Housekeeping Department
• Deputise for the Head of Housekeeping as needed
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met
• Coordinate with Maintenance to fix issues promptly
• Communicate with Reception about check-outs/check-ins
• Oversee daily compliance for hot tubs (if applicable)
• Service external lodges as part of daily cleaning

ABOUT THE ROLE…

You will report to the Head of Housekeeping, supporting to manage the Housekeeping department to deliver world class room and venue standards for our guests.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…

• Leading your team on shift to achieve high standards of cleanliness throughout the rooms and public areas
• Training and Development of the Housekeeping Department
• Deputise for the Head of Housekeeping on occasions
• Comply with Health & Safety Standards
• Liaise with the Maintenance Team as required to fix issues in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with Reception regarding check outs and check ins to manage yours and your teams time effectively
• Daily upkeep of compliance for all Hot Tubs (If Applicable)
• Servicing our External Lodges as part of daily cleaning routines
• This list is not exhaustive and other adhoc tasks may be required, and will be discussed with you in advance

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED…

• Experience managing a team in a housekeeping environment (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Procure Wizard (Desirable)

We pay a fair wage – with our hourly pay being higher than the Government rates, at a minimum. Your earnings will be further enhanced by our 10% service charges and other tips that guests leave – with 100% of tips being retained by the team.
