Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs in London is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a busy DL Club, ensuring exceptional member experience and smooth day-to-day operations seven days a week. You will manage teams, coordinate across functions, and drive service standards in a premium health and wellness environment.

You will partner with the General Manager to implement strategies that hit club targets while upholding health, safety and compliance, and to foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture

Qualifications

• Experience managing a large operational service delivery facility.
• Experience leading multiple functions or departments.
• Experience of financial planning and management.
• Passionate about customer service.

Assistant General Managers are people-focused and have full accountability in leading and operating a successful DL Club and giving our members an excellent experience every day, 7 days a week.

You will work closely with the General Manager to implement strategies to drive club targets and member experience, alongside ensuring a smooth operation making sure day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to for everyone in the club.

• Has experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable depts.
• Experience of financial planning and management.
• Passionate about customer service.
