David Lloyd Clubs is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a premium fitness club, ensuring outstanding member experiences seven days a week. You will work closely with the General Manager to implement growth strategies, drive performance, and uphold health, safety, and compliance standards across daily operations.

The role emphasizes people leadership, service excellence, and delivering a thriving club culture where teams feel supported and members receive an exceptional experience.

Assistant General Managers are people-focused and have full accountability in leading and operating a successful DL Club and giving our members an excellent experience every day, 7 days a week.

You will work closely with the General Manager to implement strategies to drive club targets and member experience, alongside ensuring a smooth operation making sure day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to for everyone in the club.

About You

As Assistant General Manager, we are looking for someone who:

• Has experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable depts.
• Experience of financial planning and management.
• Passionate about customer service.
