What you'll be doing...
As an
Assistant Cook , you'll support the kitchen team in preparing and cooking food to meet high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation. You'll assist with daily kitchen tasks to help ensure smooth and efficient meal service.
Assist in the preparation and cooking of food according to menus and recipes
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment
Support stock rotation and inventory management
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
Assist with portion control and presentation of dishes
Follow instructions and contribute to a positive team environment
Working pattern :
Monday to Friday | School Hours | 25 hours per week | Term Time Only

Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work well as part of a team
Good communication and time management skills

Physical stamina to work in a busy kitchen environment
