Job description

In this role, you will support the Deputy Company Secretary and take ownership of global entity management for the Pure DC Group. You will be responsible for setting up new companies, managing a portfolio of UK and international entities, and ensuring that governance practices are followed across all operating businesses. You will maintain corporate records, oversee statutory registers and filings, and ensure all entities remain in good standing. You will provide primary liaison with external company secretarial service providers, handling updates, filings and KYC requests with support from the company secretarial assistant. You will guide the assistant on entity management processes and help ensure internal KYC refreshes are completed. You will also keep on top of regulatory changes across jurisdictions and feed this into the team's compliance and governance work. You will play a key role in shaping and developing the company secretarial function alongside the wider Cosec Team and Chief Legal Officer. You will contribute to the identification of legal and compliance gaps and work with colleagues to address risks. You will also define and deliver corporate governance initiatives that improve consistency, efficiency and professional standards across the Group. You will support board and committee meetings through agenda planning, paper preparation, minute taking and tracking actions. You will assist on transactional and project-related work, including the post-acquisition integration of new entities. You will maintain entity databases, support global expansion and help deliver a proactive and high-quality service to the wider business.

  • Educated to degree level
  • Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute or other similar qualification
  • 4+ years' experience in a company secretarial environment in a global organisation (Fund/Listed company experience an advantage but not a requirement)
  • Line management experience useful but not required
  • Experience of working in a global company secretarial team
  • Knowledge of corporate structures and company incorporation
