Job summary

Veolia in the United Kingdom is seeking an asbestos removal specialist to lead licensed and unlicensed works across multiple sites. The role requires travel around the UK and delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

You will provide technical guidance on asbestos removal to other teams and support tender responses. The position offers a salary circa £42,000 per annum plus bonus and Veolia benefits, with 40 hours per week and nationwide travel.

Qualifications

• Licensed/unlicensed asbestos removal expertise with knowledge of legislation and HSE regulations.
• Ability to lead asbestos projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Experience providing asbestos expertise across demolition, remediation and business development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that licensed and unlicensed asbestos works are completed safely, on time, to cost and quality in accordance with applicable legislation and internal processes.
• Provide licensed and unlicensed asbestos removal knowledge to other parts of the business, including demolition and remediation operations and bids/tender responses.
• Travel to various sites across the UK as required.
