Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead waste, facilities and cleaning teams at the Oxford site. The role involves coordinating daily waste operations, overseeing cleaning activities, and ensuring safety standards are met.

You will manage resources and budgets while liaising with clients and suppliers to uphold KPIs. Applicants should have GCSEs including Maths and English, two A-Levels, and a valid forklift licence.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs in at least four subjects including Maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Two A-Levels preferred.
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence; additional FM training desirable.
  • Experience in facilities and waste management, supervisory/leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise waste, facilities and cleaning teams; allocate tasks and manage rotas.
  • Coordinate daily waste collection, segregation, processing and storage on site.
  • Oversee cleaning operations and ensure quality standards and KPIs.
  • Manage health, safety and environmental compliance; conduct inspections and audits.
  • Manage resources, equipment, and costs; identify improvements and cost savings.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers; monitor KPIs and prepare reports.
