Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Transport Service Coordinator in Avonmouth to lead daily service delivery and fleet coordination, ensuring high standards of customer service and efficient routing.

You will manage driver teams, liaise with customers, and uphold transport compliance while contributing to Veolia’s mission of ecological transformation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication across levels including drivers, frontline staff and customers.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Understanding of transport regulations and WTD is desirable.
• Experience supervising teams in transport/logistics is desirable.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to adapt to Google operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of service delivery with dynamic allocation of work to vehicles/routes.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders, provide status updates and driver liaison.
• Complete debriefs with frontline staff and report actions or updates.
• Engage with drivers face-to-face to resolve route issues.
• Report safety concerns or damage and pause operations if unsafe.
• Support on-site transport compliance (WTD, O-licence) and liaise with Operations Manager.
