Job summary

Veolia Group in Aldridge is seeking a dedicated Plant Operator to run processing equipment, monitor control room operations and support waste treatment activities. You will drive site vehicles and assist with maintenance while promoting environmental best practices across contractors and staff.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, knowledge of plant/equipment, and a proactive safety mindset; forklift licences are a plus.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Operational knowledge of plant and equipment.
• Experience in manual handling roles.
• IOSH-style safety awareness preferred.
• Forklift licences desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant processing equipment and control room operations.
• Carry out treatment of waste operations.
• Operate site vehicles including forklift trucks and other machinery.
• Assist in maintenance of plant and equipment and processes.
• Promote environmental awareness to workers and visitors.
