A leading health service provider in Coventry is seeking candidates for a role in the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit. The Pharmacy Aseptic Unit at University Hospital Coventry is a specialised service preparing medicines aseptically as well as dispensing some Parenteral Nutrition products and a small range of other IV products. Suitable candidates would be required to work in a cleanroom environment where duties are interesting and varied. Duties range from drug preparation, cleaning, stock management and monitoring of the cleanroom environment and equipment.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.

You must be willing to learn and take responsibility, working well within a diverse team consisting of Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants, Pharmacists, Nurses and Clerical staff. You will also be expected to develop good working relationships with other departments within the Pharmacy and Hospital.

This post is offered as a Band 2–3 development opportunity, with structured support and training provided to help the successful candidate progress from Band 2 to Band 3. However, candidates who already meet the competencies and experience required for Band 3 may be considered for appointment directly at Band 3, subject to assessment at interview.
