Qualifications

• Essential: Level 2 qualification in a relevant area (Certificate or Diploma).
• Essential: 6 weeks of experience in learning environment or placement.
• Desirable: Level 3 or higher qualification in a relevant area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with educational support and care of pupils with special educational needs.
• Support pupil access to curriculum through specialised strategies and inclusion in mainstream classes.
• Assist with personal care needs and daily routines under teacher direction.
• Support with administration tasks and maintain pupil progress records.
• Attend in-service training and support work placement students.
