• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a well-established outfit.
• Working knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Travelling across commercial and domestic client sites to complete management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys.
• Conducting re-inspections surveys.
• Safely collecting samples from site for analysis.
• Producing bespoke technical survey reports for clients.
• Attending site meetings with clients to establish new contracts.

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Newport, South Wales

Salary / Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits

We are seeking a motivated Asbestos Surveyor, in South Wales, ideally with good access to the M4. The company is UKAS accredited and has a strong presence around the region and into the South West of England. You will be conducting the full range of asbestos surveys on domestic and commercial premises, ensuring to maintain high levels of customer service. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits, including overtime, pension and company vehicle.

You will be travelling across: Newport, Cardiff, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Abergavenny, Blackwood, Barry, Caerphilly, Penarth, Bridgend, Aderdare, Swansea, Merthyr Tydfil, Ross-on-Wye, Lydney, Dursley, Chepstow, Gloucester, Stroud, Yate, Thornbury, Filton, Bristol, Bath, Portishead, Clevedon, Weston-Super-Mare, Radstock, Corsham, Trowbridge, Cheltenham.

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a well-established outfit
• Working knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
• Will be qualified with the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using IT software
• Good client-facing skills and experience

The Role
