Job Description

Our client is a prominent and independent medium sized asbestos management company with a good turnover. They specialise in providing a range of asbestos and environmental services to meet the needs of their clients in a diverse range of industry sectors. Their core values lie in providing solutions tailored to each individual requirement.

Due to current state of the business, they are looking for a smart, commercially focused and self-driven Asbestos Sales Manager based in West Midlands and will include applications from Birmingham, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, Derbyshire and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will come from a good educational background and have excellent communication, people management, leadership, sales, accounts, management, technical, presentation and client-facing skills. They must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package and fully conversant with the asbestos industry, with a track record in developing new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cross selling the company’s asbestos services to a cross section of clients across the UK and managing the company’s existing accounts – generating new business leads.
  • Managing the sales team and staff and clients – tending to their requirements.
  • Preparing quotes efficiently – managing own workload and achieving targets and goals.
  • Dealing with tender quotes and preparing PPQ’s documents, etc.
  • Getting involved with the Key Performance Indicators.
  • Liaising with the company’s and mixed portfolio of clients.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business leads – researching.
  • Networking – contacting clients and building a good rapport.
  • Getting involved with quotations, proposals and KPI’s.
  • Overseeing sales staff and ensuring that they carry out the work effectively.
  • Attending meetings and delivering presentations as required with regards to sales.
  • Liaising with potential customers/clients and informing them of the company’s services.
  • Providing feedback to the senior members of staff.
  • Building new sales strategies.
  • Meeting targets and goals.
  • Profit and loss.
  • Keeping up with current legislation.
  • Dealing with issues effectively and appropriately.
