A membership-based cooperative in Manchester is seeking an Asbestos Compliance Coordinator. We’re looking for an Asbestos Compliance Coordinator to join our growing compliance team and help ensure our Co-op remains fully compliant with asbestos regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining safe, healthy workplaces for colleagues across the business and optimising relationships with key contractors. It’s an exciting time to join us; the team is expanding and working on high‑profile projects that will benefit our customers, members, and colleagues.
You’ll act as the link between Co‑op and our licensed asbestos removal contractors, making sure work is carried out safely, compliantly, and in line with business objectives. You’ll need to be an expert communicator, confident in managing challenging conversations when agreements aren’t met. If you have strong compliance knowledge and natural people skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure and build your profile in a business that puts people at the heart of its strategy.
