About the Role

Our Art Department is a well‑equipped, popular subject area offering a range of specialisms. The appointed Art Technician will support teaching and learning, enhance inclusivity, ensure health & safety compliance and provide practical classroom support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in delivering the art curriculum and support pupils’ individual learning needs.
  • Maintain the department’s independent studio space and manage equipment, supplies and safety procedures.
  • Organise systems, keep records and manage administrative tasks in an efficient, creative capacity.
  • Support the department’s commitment to equality of opportunity, safeguarding and welfare of all students.
Qualifications
  • Degree or professional experience in a relevant subject.
  • A passion for learning and developing your practice through regular CPD and feedback.
  • Commitment to equality of opportunity and safeguarding of all students.
