Alexander James Recruiting is currently seeking an experienced sales professional to work for a national plant hire business in a field based role covering Greater London. The ideal candidate will have a background with the construction industry in a sales focused position or work as a plant engineer or another technical role with a keenness to move into sales. With an excellent package on offer this is a great opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career.

Responsibilities
  • Managing an existing client base across Greater London
  • Business development across the same area by visiting customer sites
  • Providing a consultative approach to business and retail customers through the sale of dumpers, telehandlers, excavators & wheel loaders
  • Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth
  • To sell the company range of maintenance packages and other service products
Requirements

You will ideally have worked in a sales role within heavy plant before, having experience of selling dumper trucks, excavators, telehandlers etc. Alternatively, the company is open to and keen to speak to individuals who have technical backgrounds within the industry who are keen and have the aptitude and drive to move into a sales position. Engineer’s/mechanic’s may be of interest in this regard. In terms of location you will be located within Greater London but candidates further a field may also be considered.
