LOCATION: Peterborough, Corby, Northampton

THE COMPANY:

Our client is one of the largest independent foodservice wholesalers in the UK, known for consistent quality of service and products in the foodservice and catering sector. Having expanded from regional to national coverage, they offer a comprehensive product range across frozen, chilled, and ambient lines, providing a one-stop solution for clients including pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels, education, and healthcare.

THE ROLE:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will manage a portfolio of 150-200 foodservice accounts.

You will be responsible for cross-selling, upselling, and acquiring new clients through effective menu planning and food costing at head chef or contract catering manager level.

You will work from home, managing your own journey plan, and collaborate with the team to meet company promotions and objectives alongside your personal targets.

THE APPLICANT:

The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience within the foodservice sector, preferably with a background in foodservice manufacturing or wholesale.

• Experience as a head chef or with catering qualifications, with field sales experience in other sectors, will also be considered.
• Experience selling catering equipment or disposables to foodservice clients is a plus.
• Must be a team player, target-driven, and motivated to succeed in sales.
