Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales – West Midlands

Up to £33,000 + great bonus, company car & home-based contract

If you are currently working in Field Sales or have the talent and ambition to excel in the Food Service sales force, and are passionate about building a career in sales, we offer a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team.

What you'll be doing:

• Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a natural curiosity about the independent sector.
• Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
• Partner with your customers to understand their growth plans, adding value through practical solutions and products.
• Understand competitor activity and proposals to ensure your customers receive the best local solutions.
• Collaborate proactively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure a successful handover.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.

You should be highly service-focused, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do. Be tenacious and resilient, a self-starter with the drive to succeed, and have demonstrable experience of meeting targets. You will be self-motivated to develop your skills continuously, leveraging various learning and development programmes. There are opportunities for progression into a wide range of commercial roles.

Confidence with our modernisation programme and new technology is important. Experience with Salesforce is not essential but would be advantageous.
