Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales – West Midlands

Up to £33,000 + great bonus, company car & home-based contract

At Brakes, we have ambitious growth plans. If you are currently working in Field Sales or have the talent and ambition to succeed in the Food Service sales sector, we offer a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a natural curiosity in the independent sector.
  2. Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  3. Partner with your customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
  4. Understand competitor activity and proposals to ensure you provide the best local solutions for your customers.
  5. Collaborate proactively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure a successful handover.
  6. Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.

You should be highly service-oriented, putting the customer at the center of your work, and capable of providing solutions that support and enhance their businesses. You need to be tenacious, resilient, self-motivated, and driven to succeed, with demonstrable experience in meeting targets. You should also seek continuous personal development, leveraging various skills and learning opportunities offered through our L&D programmes. There are ample opportunities for career progression into diverse commercial roles.

Familiarity with our modernisation initiatives and new technologies that enhance customer experience and performance is important. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
