Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales - West Midlands

Salary: Up to £33,000 + great bonus, company car, and home-based contract

We are seeking an ambitious and passionate sales professional to join our Independent Sales Team as an Area Sales Manager. If you have experience in Field Sales or the talent to thrive in a dynamic sales environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in the food service industry.

Responsibilities:
  1. Model and embody our company values and purpose.
  2. Build and leverage strong customer relationships within the independent sector.
  3. Grow and retain customer accounts, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  4. Partner with customers to understand their growth plans, offering practical solutions and products.
  5. Monitor competitor activity and proposals to ensure our offerings are competitive and local solutions are optimal.
  6. Collaborate proactively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure smooth handovers.
  7. Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.
Candidate Profile:

You should be highly service-oriented, customer-focused, and resilient. A self-starter with a drive to succeed, you should have demonstrable experience in achieving targets and a desire for continuous personal development. Confidence with new technology and modernisation programmes, including Salesforce (preferred but not essential), is advantageous.
