Location: South East (Field & Home Based)

Salary: c£55K pa + Bonus + Benefits

Sector: Flooring / Construction / Interior Finishes

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading brand in the flooring industry for an experienced Commercial Specification Manager to cover the South East region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive sales professional with strong commercial awareness and experience in specification-led projects within the construction, flooring, or interiors sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships within your territory, driving specification opportunities from concept to delivery.
  • Build and maintain a robust project pipeline through proactive business development.
  • Deliver engaging product presentations and sales meetings, both face-to-face and digitally.
  • Take ownership of sales performance, margins, and customer satisfaction in your area.
  • Work collaboratively with National Specification Managers to secure large-scale projects.
  • Use CRM systems effectively for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record in specification sales within flooring, construction, or interior finishes.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A focus on driving good quality, results-oriented behaviours with a flexible 50/50 balance of working from home and being on the road
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Comfortable using digital tools to support customer engagement and reporting.
  • Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider sales team.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South East region.
