Overview

We are looking for an architect with strong healthcare and medical planning expertise who can exercise independent judgment in design and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will apply a broad knowledge of architectural principles and practices to deliver projects with originality, ingenuity, and precision.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and coordinating floor plans, interior elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and equipment layouts for clinical spaces.
  • Supporting and sometimes directing project teams, ensuring continuity of design intent from concept through documentation.
  • Participating in conceptual, schematic, and design development stages of healthcare projects.
  • Translating client operational models into architectural/medical planning solutions.
  • Serving as a point of contact for client questions and facilitating real-time discussions with end users.
  • Applying regulatory codes and hospital licensing standards to assigned project segments.
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation, including meeting minutes and consultant coordination reports.
  • Participating in—and at times leading—project and coordination meetings across disciplines.
  • Integrating research methodologies and evidence-based design principles into practice.
  • Travel as required.

Candidates will need c.8-12 years of relevant experience and flights and relocation support is provided.
