We have already embarked on a transformational journey to deliver our significant growth agenda but to ensure we maximise this, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Applications Engineer to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting our sales and technical teams, helping to deliver engineered hydraulic solutions and product support to customers across a wide range of industries.

You’ll work closely with the Regional Sales Leader, Sales Representatives, and Product Managers to provide both day-to-day technical support and longer-term customer development. This is a hybrid role that blends hands‑on engineering with client engagement and sales support.

You’ll also have the opportunity to grow and manage your own territory, building strong relationships with customers and helping them apply the right products for their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growing and supporting a customer base within your designated territory
  • Designing and recommending hydraulic systems and hose/fitting solutions, including CAD circuit and system layouts
  • Providing technical support to customers and internal teams, including field service and commissioning
  • Collaborating with the Product Engineering Manager to support product development and evaluation
  • Assisting the sales team in meeting targets by delivering practical, engineered solutions
  • Ensuring correct application of products and maintaining customer satisfaction through ongoing support
  • Troubleshooting issues, recommending system improvements, and offering technical advice as required
What You'll Need
  • Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
  • 15+ years in hydraulics or technical sales
  • Strong product knowledge and customer‑facing experience
  • Proficient in CAD and interpreting technical drawings
  • Strong communication, planning, and teamwork abilities
