Job summary

A leading MedTech firm in the UK is seeking an Application Support Technician to provide IT support and maintenance. In this fully remote role, the candidate will ensure high customer service standards while working closely with clients and internal teams. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of experience in technical support, preferably with users in the healthcare industry. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000, bonus opportunities, and additional benefits including vacation leave and pension options.

Application Support Technician

Our client is a global MedTech platform that leverages AI to quickly & efficiently assess patients in a range of clinical settings, care homes & hospitals. They have won multiple awards & experienced high levels of growth over recent years and, as such, are looking for an Application Support Technician to join their UK team.

Working closely with a range of clients and internal staff, the Application Support Technician will be responsible for delivering IT support and ongoing maintenance, whilst providing first-class customer service.

This is a fully remote position for candidates based in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver IT support to new & existing customers, both in-person and virtually
  • Ensure customer service standards are met with every case
  • Work closely with internal teams (Quality Assurance and Development) to resolve service issues
  • Provide insight into creation, review and improvements of system documentation and client training
  • Assist in testing new versions of the product and provide insight into improvements
  • Support internal staff with technical assistance
  • Ongoing IT system maintenance & health checks
The Successful Candidate
  • 3+ years experience in a role providing technical support to clients would be ideal
  • Experience supporting users in the healthcare industry would be a plus
  • Experience deploying and managing applications through Apple & Google Play stores is also ideal
