Job summary

Academia is seeking a new team member to support the growth of the Technical Services division. As part of the Apple Helpdesk Team, you will deliver high quality technical services and support to our Jamf-managed client base.

You will handle Tier 2+ remote desktop support for OSX, iOS and Jamf Pro, resolve issues, automate patch management, and maintain MDM solutions. You will also document solutions and ISO procedures while explaining technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an Apple Mac and/or Apple iOS environment from the ground up using Jamf Pro in a current macOS Sequoia+ environment.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
• Jamf certifications or related knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Tier 2+ remote desktop support for OSX, iOS and Jamf Pro.
• Issue resolution and troubleshooting.
• Maintenance and automation of software for patch management.
• Basic network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• MDM (Jamf) solution maintenance.
• Solutions documentation and ISO procedure documentation.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a nontechnical audience.
