Job summary

Academia the Technology Group is seeking an Apple Systems Engineer to join the Helpdesk team. The role focuses on Tier 2+ remote support for OSX, iOS and Jamf Pro, resolving issues, patch-management automation, and basic network diagnostics.

You will maintain Jamf MDM solutions, create technical documentation, and communicate complex concepts to nontechnical users, while delivering high-quality service across a predominantly Jamf-managed client base.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an Apple Mac &/or Apple iOS environment using Jamf Pro in a current MacOS Sequoia+ environment.
• A passion for technology and strong communication skills.
• Excellent communication, questioning and listening abilities.
• Strong personal planning and organisational skills and a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to demonstrate solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Tier 2+ remote desktop support for OSX, iOS and Jamf Pro.
• Issue resolution and proactive maintenance.
• Automation of software for patch management.
• Basic network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• MDM maintenance (Jamf) and documentation.
• Solutions documentation and ISO procedure documentation.
• Communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
