Job summary
Academia Group is seeking a technically capable IT professional to join the Technical Services Team in supporting a Jamf Pro managed Apple estate for a large higher education client. The role focuses on onsite management, patch management automation and delivering clear technical guidance to non-technical staff.
The ideal candidate will have MacOS experience, Jamf Pro skills, and strong communication. You will work with a UK-based team of Jamf engineers to implement and maintain Jamf solutions
Qualifications
- Experience managing an Apple MacOS/Jamf Pro environment
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- ISO procedure documentation experience
- Excellent planning and work organisation skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Jamf certifications are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Onsite management of large Apple device estate (MacOS/iPadOS)
- Maintenance and automation of patch management software
- Basic network troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair
- MDM (Jamf) solution implementation and maintenance (Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect)
- Development and maintenance of solutions
- ISO procedure documentation
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
