Position Overview

APU Technician - component MRO organisation have an opportunity for someone experienced with aircraft APU servicing and repair.

Job Summary

As an APU Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, overhauling, and repairing GTCP 36 and 85 series APUs and their components. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with EASA Part 145 standards, understanding complex technical manuals, and accurately recording investigation findings while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overhaul, inspect, and repair GTCP 85 and 36 series APUs and components following manufacturer manuals.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards throughout all operations.
  • Stay updated on new repair techniques and capabilities.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and conduct risk assessments.
  • Generate accurate workshop reports for customer estimates.
  • Assist with staff training to enhance skills and maintain high service quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven experience with GTCP 85 series APU and/or GTCP 36 series APU.
  • Familiarity with EASA Pt 145 regulatory requirements for aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
  • Proficient in MS Office and capable of interpreting complex technical manuals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organisational abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail with a safety-first mindset.
