Overview

Job Title: AGGP2026 - Graduate Space Digital System Engineer

Start date: September 2026. Airbus seeks university graduates to help pioneer sustainable aerospace for a safe and united world. The Airbus Global Graduate programme is a personalized, two-year experience designed to cultivate your professional skills, business acumen, and technical abilities, with an emphasis on developing leadership potential from day one.

You will join a global graduate community with a dedicated development week each year, connect with peers and leaders, and contribute directly in a specific, impactful position. During the programme you will be developed into an established and valuable team member from day 1.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development, integration, and lifecycle management of complex systems across multiple domains within the Mission Systems area of digital connectivity.
  • Assist in the design, development, integration, and testing of systems and subsystems.
  • Contribute to requirements definition, traceability, and validation processes.
  • Support system architecture development and modeling using tools such as SysML or MBSE platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and project management.
  • Assist with system performance analysis and trade studies.
  • Participate in risk assessments and mitigation planning.
  • Support documentation efforts including system specifications, test plans, and design reviews.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry standards.
What we are looking for / Qualifications
  • A degree level or equivalent in a relevant field of study (e.g., Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related).
  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of systems engineering or related areas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment focused on driving future innovation.
  • Ability to be self-aware and eager to take the driving seat of your development.
