Job summary

Focus Group is recruiting a Business Development Manager to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, selling AI-enabled tech to SME and mid-market firms. You will manage a protected territory in the Central region and drive growth across AI, IT, Cyber Security, Telecoms and Mobile.

You will build a strong pipeline, conduct discovery calls and meetings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure long-term strategic partnerships with customers.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience across complex cycles.
• Hunter mentality with ability to build from scratch.
• Autonomy, resilience and a growth mindset.
• Willingness to own full sales cycle from prospect to close.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: Research prospective customers and run outbound campaigns to create opportunities.
• Consultative selling: Conduct discovery calls/meetings and present tailored solutions.
• Closing deals: Navigate complex cycles with multiple stakeholders and close on value.
• Account growth: Cross-sell, upsell and generate referrals for long-term partnerships.
