Job summary

Focus Group, a high-growth UK tech scale-up, is hiring a Business Development Manager in Manchester. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, selling AI and technology to SME and mid-market clients.

This role carries 360° ownership: you build the pipeline and run the deal, with opportunities to cross-sell and grow accounts. You will benefit from coaching, in-house sales tooling, and a performance-driven culture with uncapped commission and a car allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B hunter who thrives on building from scratch and closing complex deals.
• Experience selling AI or tech solutions is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to generate and grow a pipeline and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: research prospective customers and run outbound campaigns to generate opportunities.
• Consultative selling: conduct discovery calls and meetings, propose tailored solutions.
• Closing deals: navigate complex full B2B cycles with multiple stakeholders and close through value.
• Account growth: cross-sell, upsell, and build strategic partnerships.
