• Has strong B2B business development experience.
• Comfortable selling bespoke or complex solutions.
• Experience managing a full sales cycle.
• Ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Clear, commercially focused conversations with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing and qualifying inbound new business enquiries.
• Developing targeted outbound activity and opening conversations with new prospects.
• Building relationships with senior decision makers across B2B organisations.
• Understanding client challenges and identifying where bespoke AI or digital solutions could add value.
• Working with technical and delivery teams to shape solutions, proposals and commercial approaches.
• Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle from initial conversation through to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Growing the value of opportunities by identifying wider or longer term requirements.
• Maintaining a clear and accurate pipeline and keeping CRM activity up to date.
• Supporting the development of a more structured and repeatable business development process.
• Ensuring a strong handover from sales into delivery once work is secured.
• Helping to build longer term client relationships rather than focusing purely on one off project wins.
