AI Engineer | Contract | Initial 3 months | Newcastle (Hybrid) | £#removed#/day Inside IR35

We have a new contract role for an AI Engineer to work on cutting‑edge generative AI solutions leveraging Google Gemini and Google Cloud Platform.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week required on site in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI‑driven solutions using Google Gemini and Vertex AI
• Build and integrate generative AI models via APIs
• Develop scalable Back End systems in Python for data processing and model orchestration.
• Implement RAG workflows and vector search for knowledge integration.
• Deploy solutions on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring security and compliance.
• Apply ML Ops best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring.

Tech Stack:

• Python
• ML libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain
• Cloud: Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, Gemini API

Ideal Candidate
