Job summary

Cytora, now an Applied Systems company, is hiring a Customer Business Analyst to join the Customer Success Team and advance AI-driven insurance solutions. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, own ownership of projects, and help drive meaningful outcomes at the intersection of AI and insurance.

Based in London or remotely, you’ll work with a delivery team, lead discovery workshops, and translate business needs into actionable requirements for engineering and product teams while

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance sector (underwriting, claims, policy administration, or distribution).
• Ability to run client-facing workshops and influence senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, including prompt engineering and AI-enabled workflows.
• High standard of written and verbal communication.
• Multilingual skills, English fluency advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Delivery Manager to support sprint planning, backlog refinements, and risk identification.
• Lead client discovery workshops and identify opportunities to add value for end users.
• Translate client needs into clear requirements, user stories, and process designs for engineering/product teams.
• Identify data inputs, integration touchpoints, and exception scenarios early in design.
• Manage analytics reporting of product performance (e.g., Thoughtspot).
• Design and optimize AI-driven workflows and reporting strategies.
• Improve BA efficiency through AI, automating repetitive analysis and improving insights.
• Own test strategy, acceptance criteria, UAT, and end-to-end validation including AI outputs.
• Collaborate with agile delivery teams to manage priorities and dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring live solutions and iterating.
