Job summary

Pybus Recruitment Ltd in Wimbledon is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to lead the dealership workshop. You will drive productivity, allocate tasks to technicians, and maintain high quality of service for customer vehicles.

The role is full-time, 45 hours per week, with a Saturday rotation. A fully qualified technician background, a UK driving licence and right-to-work in the UK are required; a performance bonus and generous leave are included.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and controlling workshop loading and allocating work to technicians.
• IT literate and familiar with web-based stock management systems.
• Evidence of service department experience as a Workshop Controller.
• Experience coaching and motivating a team.
• Experience as a fully qualified technician (level 3 preferred).
• Full UK driving licence with <9 points.
• Evidence of Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and agree targets and KPIs to deliver workshop results.
• Allocate work to technicians for smooth workshop operation.
• Liaise with Service department and provide technical advice to colleagues and customers.
• Ensure all incoming work is planned and managed effectively.
• Communicate with colleagues and customers to deliver exceptional service.
• Coach and support the technical team.
• Ensure quality checks and safety compliance.
