Our client’s Gloucester-based franchise-approved car dealership is seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead the aftersales department. You will oversee vehicle technicians, service advisors, parts staff and drivers, driving customer satisfaction and profitability.

The role offers a clear path for career progression within a well-established dealer group, with a base salary up to £40,000, uncapped on-target earnings around £55,000, and a company car.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service or Aftersales Manager within a franchise-approved car dealership.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• IT literate with dealership software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage the aftersales department to deliver outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
• Supervise and support a team including vehicle technicians, service advisors, parts advisors, and drivers.
• Ensure maximum utilisation of workshop facilities and efficient sale of labour and parts/accessories.
• Maintain high standards of operational efficiency and compliance with company policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention and departmental profitability.
• Monitor and report departmental performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
