Job summary

Aftersales Manager role at Gloucester-based franchise-approved car dealership. You will lead the aftersales team, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure efficient operation of workshops and parts sales. Working hours are 8:30am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.

Salary includes a starting basic up to £40,000 per annum plus uncapped on-target earnings of £55,000. A company car is provided, along with training and development programmes and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service or Aftersales Manager within a franchise-approved car dealership
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• IT literate with proficiency in relevant dealership management software
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Ability to work proactively and support colleagues to achieve departmental objectives
• Live within a reasonable commuting distance to Gloucester

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage the aftersales department to deliver outstanding customer service and satisfaction
• Supervise and support a team including vehicle technicians, service advisors, parts advisors, and drivers
• Ensure maximum utilisation of workshop facilities and the efficient sale of labour and parts/accessories
• Maintain high standards of operational efficiency and compliance with company policies
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention and departmental profitability
• Monitor and report departmental performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
• Promote teamwork, staff training, and continuous improvement within the department
